Answers to 8 Questions about Scratch-B-Gone

Barry Feinman inventor of Scratch-B-GoneWe sat Barry Feinman down and grilled him about many of the questions and concerns that we know people have when they come across Scratch-B-Gone for the first time. After all, the prevailing opinion in the industry is that once you’ve scratched, stained or heat scorched your nice Stainless steel appliance, sink or grill…well, learn to like it, because you’re just stuck with it. Along comes Scratch-B-Gone with its claims that you can easily (read, ‘not hard’, ‘anyone can do it’, ‘this is not rocket science’) restore and repair scratches and all of these other problems, and people think,”What! Is this possible? What are these guys trying to pull over on us? What’s the catch?”

So, we put the inventor in front of the camera and asked him the hard questions. So, take your time and work your way through these videos and then let us know what you think. If you have more questions, or if you’ve tried Scratch-B-Gone yourself and would be willing to let us know how you got on with your restoration project, give us a call or email us.

Question One: Scratch-B-Gone seems like an amazing product. How did you come up with the idea?

Question Two: What are common problems with Stainless steel that Scratch-B-Gone can handle?

Question Three: What comes in the Scratch-B-Gone Home Owner’s Kit, and where can people get one?

Question Four: How is Scratch-B-Gone different from other Stainless steel cleaners on the market?

Question Five: Is this really something that anybody can do? Don’t you need to be a professional?

Question Six: Will Scratch-B-Gone work on appliances with clear coats or synthetic finishes?

Question Seven: Is Restore It Yourself still a business you are running out of your garage?

Question Eight: What about people who are afraid that they will just make the problem worse if they try to use Scratch-B-Gone on their own?
